To whom it may concern:

Why would anyone make their own horror film when there are perfectly good horror films already out there, and a lot of them?

I'm going to take a moment and speak for the group (and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). Because it seems like fun. No one else is going to make the thing for us. So it seems like it's the thing to do. And besides, everyone needs a hobby.

Welcome to the tale of our No Budget Film.

If it was good enough for Sam Raimi circa 1981, then dagnabbit, it's good enough for us!

So if you're the Sam Raimi in this equation, and presumably Kara N. will be our Bruce Campbell, who does that make me? Ivan Raimi? Ted Raimi?

I think Sam Raimi wrote the damn thing himself didn't he? So we're both Sam Raimi. Like if he were a split personality.
I think Kara N. might be entertained with being compared to Bruce Campbell. Or at least sorta turned-on?

Peter Jackson's roots are less than glamorous looking too. Low-budget horror has a very rich history.

Well, it's no exaggeration to say that the people of Australia are in a frenzy about this movie.

Well, 'frenzy' may be an exaggeration.

As may be 'people'.

But, heck, I'm looking forward to it. Go you crazy kids, go!
